About university

Edge Hill University has been operating since 1885, providing higher education, the main goal of which is to create opportunities from knowledge. The University is located in the northwestern part of Great Britain, in the small shopping town of Ormskirk, near Manchester and Liverpool. The combination of the beautiful landscape on the territory of the university, the historical architecture, the full range of all necessary amenities, the lake and the beach on the territory, makes this university truly modern and unique. In 2018, the University opened a new building — Catalyst, at its opening was attended by the Queen of Great Britain herself. In this building there is a library of the university, as well as a career center and other student services.
