The educational program in the field of European Studies will introduce you to the spirit and atmosphere of European life. The curriculum of the European Studies profile is designed to enable graduates to acquire the following concepts and skills: — understand the complexity of European events and acquire analytical skills for their analysis from an interdisciplinary point of view; — to master the concept of office management necessary for the analysis of state decisions, electoral systems, political parties and political culture in the EU; — to understand the role of the European Union in the international arena and the impact of its laws, regulations and institutions on national legislation, economic principles and EU citizens; to study EU policies within specific thematic areas research on EU legislation; — acquire skills to critically assess data or information sources, and achieve the mastery of bibliographic material and official databases; — to conduct independent research with the help of a number of methods and technologies of conducting sociological research; to demonstrate knowledge of the official language of the EU except English (Spanish, Germany, French). Over the years, graduates received master's and postgraduate degrees, joined the ranks of young trainees at EU institutions in Brussels, were part of government structures, or became journalists covering EU affairs, either in Brussels or in their own countries.
