Today we hear these definitions more and more often, but few of us really understand them. However, all these processes greatly affect our modern life. In our constantly changing world, we need to understand what factors and forces influence the way we think, how we work, how we live and how we treat others. The curriculum in political science and international relations prepares students to recognize, analyze and evaluate the role of major trends and processes in our world. A better understanding of the world enables citizens to better define themselves in the public system at the local, national and global levels. This allows a person to approach problems from different perspectives and consciously make decisions. The program of Political Science and International Relations at the end of the course will give students the following knowledge and skills: - Understand the political processes and institutions at the local, national, regional and global level levels; — take into account different viewpoints, cultures and traditions; — anticipate the consequences of political decisions and processes; — Investigate policy issues and problems in an effective manner use of appropriate methodologies - identify relevant information obtained from reliable sources - communicate effectively with others in various formats. This program is traditionally considered the best choice for future service in the areas of government and diplomatic relations, law, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and enterprises that work with the public sector, as well as for further postgraduate studies. $ The curriculum includes 5 compulsory disciplines and 6 subjects to choose from. Mandatory disciplines: — Introduction to political science — Introduction to the world political environment — Basics of maroeconomics — EU policy — Analysis of foreign policy Disciplines to choose from: — Government and Politics of Bulgaria — World Political Economy — International Law — Public Policy Analysis — Research Methods in Politics — Conflicts and Ways of Their Resolution Graduates of the Program continued their postgraduate studies at the following prestigious universities in Europe and the USA: College of Europe, Harvard University, London School of Economics and Political Science, Oxford University, Princeton University, Stanford University and University of Pennsylvania. $ Graduates also continued their professional career in European and North American universities, ministries, institutions of the European Union, corporations and private companies.

Essay,The essay should be written in English on one of the following topics: “Every person has his own creative side, which can be expressed in different ways. For example, mathematical abilities, innovative thinking, artistic talents, etc. Tell us what your creative side is expressed? — Describe the most difficult situation in your life that you have faced. What have you done to overcome this situation? How did this affect your learning success? Your essay shouldn't be longer than 650 words. It will be evaluated on the basis of clarity of writing, creativity, structure, style, grammar, punctuation and spelling.
If you are enrolled during your last year of high school, you must provide an official school statement of grades for the last 3 completed years of study, which includes a list of items, interim (quarter) and final annual estimates. $ All extracts must include the name of the applicant, the contact information of the school, the name, signature and seal of the authorized person. Extracts can be provided in English, Bulgarian or Russian. If you have already completed high school, please provide a copy of your secondary school certificate with the application.
