About university

Oregon State University is an international public research university that attracts people from all 50 states and over 100 countries. OSU is located in the small town of Corvallis, one of the safest and greenest student cities in the country. It was at this university that created an artificial heart valve, a computer mouse, a modern dental chair, Leatherman tool, maraskino-cherry and even a new color blue. Graduates of the university have created such companies as Panda Express, U-Haul, McMenamins, NVIDIA, E-TRADE, Fine Foods Reser and much more. OSU is one of two universities in the United States that have Land, Sea, Space and Sun Grant grants. Thus, OSU participates in global research in all four fields: Earth, Ocean, Sun and Outer Space. With seven cultural centers representing different nationalities, OSU allows you to be yourself, explore other cultures, and prepare for your global career. Employees and students work hard to have a positive impact on the world, and by joining this community of researchers, you will have the opportunity to change the world for the better. The university consists of 11 colleges, 15 agricultural test stations, 35 additional offices, the Maritime Science Center in Hatfield. As an OSU student, you will have full access to all the facilities and resources on the campus. On the campus there are 30 different cafes and restaurants, a gym, a 23-metre pool and a 13-metre rock-like wall, as well as a library that is open 24 hours a day. Experienced teachers are always ready to help you with various assignments at the Academic Support Center.
