The Bachelor of Environmental Sciences offers a complete understanding of the physical and chemical processes of the Earth and the interaction between many aspects of our environment. A wide range of possibilities allows the university to offer interdisciplinary ideas on real environmental problems. You will have contact with practicing specialists - employees and invited speakers. You will face the challenges faced by environmental managers or environmental experts. You will learn the skills necessary to understand scientific problems and apply scientific methods to environmental problems. You will be trained in data collection and analysis, as well as improve your research skills in a large project. You will also have practical field training. The program is designed around a combination of mandatory core modules, as well as options for selecting additional modules that allow you to follow areas of personal interest. Throughout the program, you can go through five specialized routes and you will be familiar with all of them during the first year, choosing the ones that interest you most in the subsequent years: — Earth. This area explores the Earth's lithosphere, geological and sedimentary processes, as well as interaction with the climate system and natural resources — the Atmosphere. Specialization focuses on meteorology, climate and air pollution — Water. Specialization investigates processes of global and regional scale in oceans, rivers and ice fields — Bio (Biogeology and Ecology). Covers both global and local ecosystems and their interactions — Environmental management. Examines human impact on the environment and related issues such as energy and food security
