The specialist, who received the diploma of the IIU in the specialty “Design in the directions”, the direction of the specialty “Design (volumetric)” with the specialization “Design of furniture” will receive knowledge of all types of furniture and basic requirements to it, constructive-style features of modern furniture, the basics of design design and engineering design. In the course of training, students study general disciplines that contribute to artistic and professional development: drawing, painting, composition basics, design graphics, perspective, color studies, $ fonts, history of design, theory and methodology of design, psychology of design activity. The curriculum also includes disciplines aimed at the formation of professional knowledge and skills: furniture design, architectonics, design design, materials science and technology in industrial design, work in the material, as well as the study of basic computer technologies, the basics of intellectual property management, etc. The duration of training is 4 years.
